Try A New Play Park
We've got some brilliant play parks in Stretham - and one on the green in Wicken and at the cricket field in Wilburton
- Topsy & Tim play park on Ely Road near the rear entrance to the school. Plus it has tree cover and picnic benches.
- Manor Farm play park. Easy access from the village and for those on Manor Farm.
- Short Road play park. Has benches in the park and picnic benches nearby.

We've got some brilliant play parks in Stretham - and one on the green in Wicken and at the cricket field in Wilburton
- On the Rec' near the All Weather Surface in the sunshine or in the shade of the trees.
- On the Rec' by the big oak tree near the Wilburton Road bus shelter

The play park on Short Road, Stretham.

- On the Rec' at the picnic benches or under the large ash tree. This is also very close to the play park.
- At the Topsy & Tim play park. Has picnic benches.
- At the Community Garden on the allotments on Newmarket Road. Has picnic benches and seating. [Road is busy.]
- Behind the church on the footpath. Plenty of shade if needed.
- Near the Stretham Old Engine by the boats and the river.

Just need a waterproof coat or clothing, a hat, and the all-important wellies.

Locally, if you haven't already found them, there are some great places to visit close to Stretham.
- Denny Abbey Farm Museum on the A10 near the recycling centre.
- Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve opposite the Upware turn on the Wicken Road.
- Aldreth path to the river.
- Wicken Fen Nature Reserve Picnic areas. Footpaths. Boat trips - if you book in advance.
(New) Wicken To Upware / Upware To Wicken Walk Lovely lodeside walk. Cafe one end, pub at the other.
- Spinney Abbey Farm at Wicken on the right just before you get to the village. Animals and farm shop.

Ely riverside walk.

- Ely River starting from the Maltings car park off Broad Street or the Fisherman's carpark off Willow Walk.
- Ely Market on Thursday's and Saturday's. Busy and bustling.
